11. To Baines Baobab Campsite, Nxai Pan

This campsite is named after the famous stand of 7 baobab trees, visible from miles around from the surrounding flat salt pan. It’s very remote, with no water or facilities other than a long drop and bucket shower (which we didn't chose to use!).









Because it’s so dry there is little game around so more relaxing in that sense and generally just the most beautiful campsite ever, anywhere especially when the stars came out at night. Plus the camping, set up, cooking et cetera was now easier, we were a team!
